Ukraine Crisis Update: Casa Ucrania's Response from Oct to Dec 2023.

🚨 UKRAINE SITUATION from October 2023 to December 2023:


Missile, drone, and shelling attacks persist in Ukraine, particularly in the south and east. Recent incidents include Russian air strikes in the Kherson region and a rocket hitting a mail depot in Kharkiv, resulting in casualties and destruction.


Between 1 - 8 October 2023, OHCHR recorded 188 civilian casualties, contributing to a total of 27,768 since February 2022. Landmine explosions, causing 248 deaths and 500 injuries, remain a grave concern.


A report estimates a USD 14 billion impact from the destruction of the Kakhovka dam in June 2023.

Casa Ucrania Foundation is prioritizing winter initiatives in the upcoming months, aligning with the Ukraine Winter Response Plan (updated November 2023) and collaborating closely with the NPO of Ukraine.


From December 15, 2023, to February 29, 2024, our foundation aims to aid 1,800 vulnerable, displaced, and war-affected individuals. This includes comprehensive protection measures, emphasizing psychosocial support and legal assistance for securing crucial civil and housing documents.


We're committed to providing financial assistance for winter energy needs, essential items, food, winter clothing, heaters, rapid warming kits, and funds for the restoration and insulation of school facilities.
